I was told that Universal Studios Japan (SUJ) is better than Disneyland (Japan). I guess I was mentally prepared for a real good fun in USJ, this could be the reason why I were quite disappointed. No offence to USJ lover but below are just my views.
1) I noticed that Hellow Kitty is ‘boardly breed’ in Japan. The mixed with Pink Panther, Elmo, etc. I feel so over-used and I thought it’s under Sanrio but its in USJ
2) Those posted outside USJ shown quite a wide range for characters such as Hello Kitty, Looney Tunes, Sasame Street, Hulk, many many more. Yet we didnt see much of those inside. For Hello Kitty only 1 snack booth, no sight of the rest. I feel its abit misleading
3) I feel that USJ doesnt have any main focus, they just wants to includes everything and anything but jack of everything and master of nothing.
4) The environment is always very nosiy and messy.
No offence to anyone and USJ fans. Its just my personal thoughts.
Nevertheless, Bernice had enjoyed so much there and we had a great fun as a family. Till today, she keeps bringing up her trip to Japan and wanting to go back again. Next time, we shall spend more time to Kyoto. This trip is just too short..
